I have an 18 year old cat on a major decline. She's not just "not grooming" she's a long hair Maine Coon and I had been trying to cut the balls of fur and matts from under her pits and around her behind and titties and it was really hard to get downclose to the skin. I bought these... and I conditioned her to them by combing her mane and chops while also running it to accustom her to the sound, and pressing it against her without actually cutting anything so she would get use to the vibration on her skin and the sound.
